This position is to lead performance strategy, connecting technical products and solutions to support our customer specific needs. It will also coordinate these activities with the District Managers. This strategy is to include the primary sales of the Rockwell Automation portfolio as well as Power Distribution and Connectivity. Job location can be based in Nashville, TN, Decatur, AL, Dothan, AL, Mobile, AL, Selma, AL, Monroeville, AL, Jackson, MS, Hattiesburg, MS, Tupelo, MS, or Gulf Port, MS.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assists the District Manager in developing and implementing a technical sales plan to accommodate corporate goals.
Develops a 5 year technical sales plan in coordination with the respective District 5 year plan.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
Directs product analysis to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line and add profitable items.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships, delivering sales presentation, and negotiating and closing deals.
Assists the District Manager in preparing periodic technical sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Directly or indirectly manages salespersons. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate has an excellent balance between listening, negotiating, driving sales and solutions. Must have excellent communication, closing, analytical and computer software skills. Must be able to travel withing the assigned region of MS, AL and TN-50% of the time.
Required Experience
Five years outside consultative technical sales experience in the electrical/automation industry.
College degree is preferred but not required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
