TheGeneral Labor position is an entry level position with opportunity to advance through thelines of progression and non lines of progression in the production and finishing departments.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
  • Clean and maintain inside and outside of facility including wash down ofbuildings and equipment, grounds maintenance, and sweeping and moving sawdust and other materials to and fromvarious locations.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, bucket pay loader, bobcat, sweeper, Hi-Vac, tractor, and most hand tools proficiently.
  • Assist production department with startups and shut downs.
  • Train for all production positions that could become available.

What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 12-hour rotating shift work and overtime.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one (1) year of experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, military OR operating heavy equipment
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
  • Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toed boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs)
  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
  • Willing and able to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment
  • Operate forklift, bucket pay loader, other heavy equipment and hand tools proficiently.

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years or more of manufacturing experience
  • Experience using a computer for computer based training (CBT) and employee self service (ESS)
  • Experience in wood products, a plus- if you have wood experience please explain

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
